Gasoline Equipment is looking for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined individual to quickly respond to service calls and provide solutions to our customers needs. You will provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and repairs of petroleum equipment and all operating systems (primarily point-of-sale) at a given location.

What you’ll do:

  • Interact directly with customers to help them improve their systems and solve problems
  • Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair dispensers, pumping systems, tank and line sensors, and POS systems
  • Work with and accurately maintain various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools and inventory on a service vehicle
  • Apply appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements
  • Promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposes
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis with other team members


What you need to be successful:  

  • Basic computer systems/software knowledge and experience with electronic wiring 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in various fuel systems
  • On the job training to complete manufacturer certifications for Wayne Fueling Systems, VeriFone and Franklin Fueling (all provided by Gasoline Equipment)
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities
  • Willingness to work between indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions


What we require:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License as well as a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them some distance; navigate stairways and load on/off trucks
